Multi-factor authentication (MFA) protects your online accounts from 99% of all unauthorized login attempts by sending a verification to your mobile device. With Microsoft Azure MFA, you will be notified if your password is compromised or if unauthorized attempts to log in are made.
All users with a Dwight email address are required to enroll in Microsoft Azure MFA to protect their online identity now as we leverage this account for Single Sign On (SSO) for our other applications like Google, MyDwight, Canvas, and more.
To get started, type in your Dwight email address at the Gmail login mail.google.com which will redirect you to Microsoft Azure.
Type in your Dwight email address, click next, then type in your COMPUTER password.
You will receive the message 'More information required' - click Next.
If you already use Microsoft Authenticator as a MFA click next. If you would like to use another Authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, LastPass, 1Pass OR your cell phone number instead click on 'I want to set up a different method'.
If you're using the Microsoft Authenticator, add an account, and select "Work or school".
If you chose Authenticator App follow the next following steps:
If you choose 'Phone' instead of the Authenticator App you will be given the option to type in your phone number.
You will be texted a code to input to complete verification.
