User Guide: Installing and Using Dwight Printers on macOS
Overview
This guide will walk you through the steps to install the Dwight printers on your macOS device using the Self Service app. The Dwight Color Global Print allows printing in color, while the Dwight Global Print only supports black-and-white printing.
Step 1: Open Self Service
Click on the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of your Mac screen to open Spotlight Search.
Type Self Service in the search bar.
Click to Open when the Self Service app appears.
Step 2: Search for Printer Installation
Once Self Service is open, use the search bar on the left panel.
Type print and press Enter.
A list of available printer options will appear.
Step 3: Install the Printer
For Color Printing:
Locate Dwight Color Global Print.
Click Install.
For Black-and-White Printing:
Locate Dwight Global Print.
Click Install.
Wait for the installation to complete. Once installed, the printers will be available in your Print Settings.
Step 4: Print a Document
Open the document you wish to print.
Press Command (⌘) + P or go to File > Print.
Select either Dwight Color Global Print (for color) or Dwight Global Print (for black-and-white).
Adjust print settings as needed.
Click Print.
Your document will be sent to the appropriate printer.
Troubleshooting
If the printers do not appear after installation, try restarting your computer.
Ensure you are connected to the correct network(Dwight Wireless) not Dwight BYOD.
